November 2011 - Guajiru International Airport works started!

Recently, the works have commenced, as can be seen on the photo's herewith shown.

The landing strip will get a size bigger then the ones, at even the capital airport!

Upto 2300 mtr long! x 55 meter wide!

The landing strip has to be ready and delivered, ready to operate!, in upto 18 months.

Meanwhile also the terminal has been awarded by public tender (see the next item under "news" of this website).
