November 2008 - New kicker and slider park at Ilha do Guajiru!

Within the shortest possible time, ilha do guajiru, the flatwater sea, will  be the home of a challenging and creative kicker and slider park!

Kim Albrecht, Germany's very talented kiteboarder, with a enormous experience is designing and creating the most challenging obstacles near and on the water, has meanwhile been contracted by the management of Ilha do Guajirú to supervise the rise of this innovative kicker and slider park.

Kim is presently staying at Windvillage, Guajiru's waterfront bungalows, in order to be able to follow from close all preparations and craftmenship in the workshops of Itarema under his management.

The management of Brazil's hottest kitespot, ordered a team of professional kiters and builders to start off to create as soon as possible the first obstacles.

Ramps, kickers and sliders will be located inside the huge lagoon, by far big enough to allow the pro's or very advanced kiters to train in piece and concentrate on this latest kite trend!
