November 29th 2008 - Record lack of wind in Cumbuco, plenty of wind at Ilha do Guajiru!
The past weeks, Cumbuco, Brazil's former visited surfspot, is facing a general lack of wind.
Writing this article 29 november 2008, the past weeks have shown a extremely low wind statistic.
Today, like yday and the day before, the wind has not even reached 10 knots, needed for kiting and windsurfing.
As a result, many kiters and windsurfers during the last days packed their gear, driving up N-East, for Ilha do Guajiru.
A good decision, because the wind at the Flatwater Sea has not stopped blowing at ANY day and continues to offer EVERYDAY a good 20 knots.
Those leaving Cumbuco and arriving the same day at Ilha do Guajiru see it is true:
Ilha do Guajiru is having much better wind statistics then Cumbuco...
Don't believe it?
Then visit Ilha do Guajiru yourself!
