 
June 2010 - Power lines removed at Ilha do Guajiru!
To all kiters that intend to kite or have been kiting already at Praia da Barra, and experienced some hinder of the power lines at the beach in front, we have some good news to bring!
Right now, June 2010, the electricity company of Brazil, Coelce, is removing all power lines in the front, at the beach of Praia da Barra!
The management of the island has been much behind them to get it organised and finally it is all happening!
This will take away the very last obstacle at Praia da Barra, to allow all kiters maximum space and freedom to launch and land their kites.
