In front of Ilha do Guajirú, stretched out over appr. 4 km, the island’s massive, white, soft sanded Dunes are located.

Positioned parallel to Praia da Barra and Praia do Guajirú, the Dunes enclose the Main Lagoon and protect it from the challenging waves of the Pacific ocean.

Fronting on one side the Main Lagoon with perfect flat water and the sea on the other side with nice, perfect waves, the Dunes are a luxury to be on:

You don’t need to choose what you like best, you simply have both!

On the Dunes you will find the Pearl Lagoon at it’s western end, and the Secret Spot at the very eastern end, both worthwhile your visit.

To visit the Dunes, simply cross the Main Lagoon by your surfboard or ask at pousada do Toca at Praia da Barra for rates and service of the ferry.
