Once you landed on Ilha do Guajirú don’t forget to do a boat tour with one of the local fishing boats.

Simply speak to one of the captains of the jangada’s waiting upwind at Praia do Guajirú, they will be happy to take you anywhere: just negotiate the price upfront with them and off you go!

Let them show you the entire island, including the Pearl Lagoon, the Secret Spot and amazon-like River.

Or simply ask them to be your ferry, so you can cross the Main Lagoon with them and swim, surf or stay a day or an afternoon at Praia das Dunas, a very nice change.
